About “Confucius Digital Trading Card” Project
The “Confucius Digital Trading Card” project is an attempt to incorporate the philosophy and human art that Confucius taught in his “Analects” and other works into calligraphy, and to transmit them as NFT trading cards 2000 years after the rise of Confucianism.
The soulful calligraphy, written by 孔健 (Koken / Kong Jian) himself, a direct descendant of the 57th generation of Confucius, has aesthetic value in its own right, but also radiates a strong philosophical message through the Chinese characters, which have profound meaning in Confucianism.
The NFT card is the result of a complex fusion of philosophy, history, art, and modern technology, and we invite you to take it in your hand and contemplate the depths of more than 2,000 years of history.
孔健 (Koken / Kong Jian)
孔健 (Koken / Kong Jian) is the 75th generation direct descendant of Confucius.
He has been active in various media as an author, translator, journalist, professor at SBI Graduate School, director at Chinese Dragon News and president of the World Confucius Association, promoting Confucius’ thought and Chinese culture.
In 2010, he established the Confucius Culture Award at the World Confucius Association, of which he is the president and gives to individuals who have contributed to the spread of the spirit of Confucius and his Analects through their efforts as a bridge of friendship between Japan and China.
He has authored several books to date, including:
